Many people contacted me asking for it, so I rewrote the code for the old PSPi Version 4 kit. It now works with the newest version of Retropie, and it also now works with the new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.
The software is all on Github (including links for pre-made SD images):

Everything except the joystick is enabled for the original Raspberry Pi Zero. Everything except the joystick and brightness control is enabled for the new Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.
I'm doing my best to keep the PSPi Zero Version 5 boards in stock. The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is causing more demand for the PSPi board than I originally planned for, and I'm building them as fast as I can.
